Avocados are not only perfect for making guacamole, but they have properties that can benefit your hair as well. Livestrong.com says, “Avocados are high in vitamins B and E, which work at the cellular level to protect and strengthen hair. Vitamin B is essential for hair growth. Vitamin E helps repair damage on the scalp, which may slow or prevent hair growing.” Avocado or Avocado oil can be used to benefit your hair!

Benefits of using Avocado or Avocado oil on hair:

  • Moisturize Scalp: Stylecraze.com says, “One can use avocado oil for hair in more than one ways as it’s an exceptional treatment for revitalizing dry, damaged, lifeless hair. It deep conditions your locks and scalp and hence leave them looking lustrous and full of life. Moreover, being a rich source of proteins, amino acids and vitamins, avocado oil also helps promoting the growth of healthier tresses.”
  • Combats Hair Loss: Livestrong.com says, “Hair loss may be a result of vitamin deficiency or of external stresses on your hair. Hair loss occurs when hair becomes dry and damaged from exposure to extreme heat, sun or cold. You may also contribute to hair loss and damaged hair by using chemically loaded hair products or styling tools such as hair dryers or curling irons.” Using an avocado mark or avocado oil on your hair will combat hair loss.
