Yes, Love Your Color is a gluten-free hair dye that can help people who choose not to use products that include gluten. Unlike many other hair dyes Love Your Color pays attention to the percentage of people who don't want to use cosmetics that have gluten. If you do have Celiac Disease and want to color your own hair don't shy away from the urge, try this product! Love Your Color is a healthy alternative to hair dye and it also follows a gluten free diet as well!

These are all Oxidation Dyes primarily used in PERMANENT Hair Dyes NOT in Love Your Color! Oxidation Dyes can be harmful for hair structure and will cause damage that will require repair with the use of other products.

Love Your Color is guaranteed PPD free! The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) describes PPD (p-Phenylenediamine) as:

- p-Phenylenediamine is primarily used as a dye intermediate and as a dye. Acute (short-term) exposure to high levels of p-phenylenediamine may cause severe dermatitis, eye irritation and tearing, asthma, gastritis, renal failure, vertigo, tremors, convulsions, and coma in humans.

- Eczematoid contact dermatitis may result from chronic (long-term) exposure in humans. In rats and mice chronically exposed to p-phenylenediamine in their diet, depressed body weights, but no other clinical signs of toxicity, were observed in several studies.

No information is available on the reproductive, developmental, or carcinogenic effects of p-phenylenediamine in humans. EPA has not classified p-phenylenediamine with respect to carcinogenicity.
