Black tea can not only quench your thirst but it can make your hair stronger and healthier. Black tea is filled with antioxidants and caffeine that can be very beneficial to your hair. The caffeine in black tea blocks DHT, the hormone that is responsible for hair loss.  The easiest way to use black tea on your hair is to rinse your hair with it.

Black Tea Hair Rinse

Step 1: Depending on how long and thick your hair is will determine how many tea bags you will need. The smallest amount of tea bags you should use is 2 and the most is 10.

Step 2: After you decide how many tea bags you will need; now you need to steep the tea bags in hot water for 10-15 minutes and then let it cool. Once it cools down, you can take the tea bags outs and it is ready to use. Tip: You can leave the tea (with the tea bags) in the fridge overnight for a stronger rinse.

Step 3: Applying the rinse; first you should shampoo your hair, then pour the rinse on your hair. You could also put the tea in a spray bottle and spray your hair with the tea instead on pouring it on. Let it sit for 20-30 minutes.

Step 4: After you wash it out use a deep conditioning treatment on the ends of your hair. Justgrowalready.com says to, “deep condition with a moisturizing conditioner afterwards because tea rinses make hair feel stiff and hard.”

Step 5: After you use the deep condtioning treatment, dry your hair and style it however you want!
